Communities In Schools

Reach Academics ran a morning workshop with staff members from Communities in Schools, Los Angeles. We focused our training on how we can best work with teachers through a deeper understanding of what they really do in the classroom (the relational aspect). CIS members were engaged and asked thoughtful questions as we unpacked some case studies on topics of building connection and cultivating hope. The workshop took place at Mark Twain Middle School in Palms, CA, and it was a perfect example of how Reach Academics can extend its impact to a wide range of schools and non-profits aimed at supporting excellent teaching.
